Ask Jenna - I took the kids to a park by our house to sled. So fun, Right? They were all having a blast, then we found a bump and a jump. Ri and Ty went first and survived, so down went Jen. And I mean DOWN went Jen. She landed right on her face. She was brave and kept going. Her sled was not as fortunate. It cracked in half and had to be left in the trash bin.

Recently I was accused of not updating my blog on a regular basis. The fact that I am using the word recently to refer to an e-mail sent to me a month ago gives you a reference point. It has only been four weeks since Christmas - here are a couple of pictures.
One Christmas I am going to remember to take "before" and "after" pictures. Ri, Jen and Ty are three of eight grandkids on my side and the only grandkids on Dave's side. This means three aunts and two sets of grandparents to spoil them rotten. It is definitely more of a threat to say that Grandma or Grammie won't get you presents than to say Santa is not bringing anything. It takes two trips to bring all of the goods home. Judging by sheer quantity it was a fantastic Christmas. (We also enjoyed good times with the family, which was mine and Dave's favorite part.)
