BeSt BUdDieS

Every day after school Jenna asks if she can play with a friend. Every day after school I ask which friend. Nine times out of ten she says Gavin. The other day I called Becky to have her send Jen home for dinner. She told me that they always climb to Gavin's top bunk and play video games together. How can I even consider moving when my kids' only cousins live across the park. So cute!

Really -

As a follow-up I just want to let you know that I called Dave, paged Dave, sent texts to Dave, etc.. Asking him, if he were to find himself anywhere near Becks to please snap a picture and send it to me. Well, I got no response. When Dave and Rilie came home I told him to check his phone. He did, and kind of gasped, gave me a sheepish look, and said, "I wish I would have heard my phone, we were right behind the bench and Beckham sat out the last few minutes, so I could have gotten you a close-up."

Husbands - Geez!

A Real Daddy - Daughter Date

Is there a bigger Real Salt Lake fan than Dave? Maybe, consider Dave Junior. Rilie loves to play, watch, eat, drink, dress, basically live soccer. With two or three 2 hour practices a week she better LOVE it.

I, on the other hand am not a huge soccer fan. I enjoy watching my kids play, and that is the extent of my soccer fanaticism. I am only sad that I am going to miss Becks up close and personal. This will have to do.

I hope they have fun!

Impromptu Fashion Show

Audrey slept over a few weeks ago. The girl is seriously deprived of girly-girl stuff, living in a house with four brothers. After doing each others' make-up they took turns coming down the stairs and modeling different dresses for me. Totally the cutest thing (or if you are talking to Rilie later, it was Awesome, not cute.)

I was talking to Audrey at the start of the school year and I asked her if there were any cute boys in her class. Her reply was, "Unfortunately, no." I know if I asked Becky the same question, the answer would be, "Fortunately, no."
