Two-Year-Old and the Time Change

This morning I had to wake the kids up. A very rare occurrence at our house. Ty immediately sat straight up in bed and said, "What, it's time to get up? It can't be good morning yet, it is still dark outside." He is totally convinced he is getting away with being up in the middle of the night. Now the next trick will be to get him to go to bed at night when it is still light outside... I'll let you know how that goes.

Don't you love the time change? Spence wondered why he was going to bed last night when it was still morning time? (He thinks if it is light, it is morning). Totally confuses kids!

We skipped naptime today so we can still have a 6:30 bedtime, I will be enjoying my peaceful, relaxing night, yipee!

Lucky me, I don't have kids in school yet. So when my oldest wakes up in the morning and says, "Mom it's still dark outside," I say, "Yes, it's still night time! Go back to bed!"
